BY LOU SOMOGYI O n Aug. 8, two Notre Dame rep- resentatives were enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the same year for the first time since 1963. Running back Jerome "The Bus" Bet- tis, 43, and wide receiver/return man Tim Brown, 49, both shared fond mem- ories of their Notre Dame experience, which included their head coach, Lou Holtz, who was in the audience during the ceremonies in Canton, Ohio. The other 2015 inductees were mod- ern-era players: defensive end/line- Brown (left) hauled in 1,094 receptions for 14,934 yards and 100 touchdowns over the course of 16 seasons with the Raiders and one with the Buccaneers.
