(committed to USC). Defensive Back (continued) RECRUITING NOTES • Smyrna (Tenn.) three-star safety Ikenna Okeke has already seen Notre Dame once, but now he wants to visit again. Okeke plans to be in South Bend for the USC game the weekend of Oct. 17 for an official visit. "I just really liked it the first time I was there, so I wanted to get back," Okeke said. "I heard it's very live on game days, and I want to see that up close." Okeke, who is also being recruited by Missouri and Stanford, was offered by Notre Dame in March. At the time, he said that the bid was one stood out, and that's still the case. "I'm considering a few different schools, but I like Notre Dame," Okeke said. The 6-2, 195-pound Okeke is ranked as the No. 15 prospect in Tennessee and the No. 33 safety in the country by Rivals. • The Irish are in need of defensive ends this cycle, and one of the staff's top targets, Boulder (Colo.)
