1. Industriousness — The most worthwhile things are not easy to ac- complish. An industrious person works energetically and enthusiastically to- ward a goal … Hard work became a natural thing for me each day on my journey to become one of Ara's Knights. 2. Teamwork — Focus on the goals of the team, putting individual pride and accomplishments secondary to the betterment of the team. The end prod- uct is a winning culture. There may be things that don't highlight you as an individual, but which are important to overall success. "I have a finance degree, but I tell everybody my most rewarding subject was football because of the teamwork I learned," said Dan Morrin. "I learned to just be ready to be in there, make sure you know everything you need to know, make sure you help other people on the team." In my time playing for Ara, I saw how even the reserves who rarely played in a game helped create this winning culture by consistently being on time, giving their all in practice, and rooting for their teammates in- stead of creating dissension over is- sues such as playing time. I witnessed how a club with many The tri-captains from the 1973 national champs returned for their 40-year reunion in 2013.
