the pass catchers during the training camp held from Aug. 7-21. A shattered leg in January 2013 side- lined Hunter as a freshman, and a se- vere groin injury on the second day of camp in 2014 limited him most of the season when he caught only seven passes for 65 yards. "Now that's he's — Good Lord will- ing — healthy as he's ever been and that continues, he's really had the ability to show out over a long period of time," associate head coach/wide receivers coach Mike Denbrock said. "He's gained confidence along with it. He already brought to the table a savvy about him in the way he plays the game that's pretty remarkable. "He can play inside, he can play out- side, all over the field. I think you're going to love what you see." Don't expect Hunter 's rise to be as meteoric as Will Fuller's last year, when he went from six catches as a freshman to 76 (including 15 touch- downs) as a sophomore. Yet a result similar to Prosise going from seven catches for 72 yards (almost the same as Hunter's seven for 65 last year) to 29 for an average of 17.8 yards per catch last year is tenable. Maybe some- thing in between what Fuller and Pro- sise did in 2014. "Torii's a playmaker … we've got to find some touches for him at all three of those positions," head coach Brian Kelly said.
