The name Jon Runyan conjures up
fond memories for Michigan fans.
Recruited as a 6-8, 260-pound tight
end out of Flint, Runyan spent a
year packing on the mass to play on
the offensive line, than was a three-
year starter for units that paved the
way for an average of more than 200
rushing yards per game. He earned
All-America honors as a left tackle
in 1995, and opted to forego his final
year of college eligibility to declare
for the NFL Draft, where the Houston
Oilers picked him in the fourth round.

U-M became Runyan's first offer at the 2013 Wolverine Technique School summer camp
prior to his junior year of high school ball, and it took him less than a week to accept.
