ichigan's coaching staff has put
the 2015 class to bed and will
shift its focus to the next group. The
roster has been built up, but the class
of 2016 will be the first fully recruited
by Jim Harbaugh and his assistants.
The group should be the largest
Michigan has signed in the past few
years, after smaller hauls in 2014 and
2015. Harbaugh can fill needs and,
most of all, look at upgrading the tal-
ent level across the roster.
QUARTERBACK
Scholarship players in 2015: 4
Seniors in 2015: 0
Needs in 2016: 1-2
The U-M staff addressed quarter-
backs very well in the 2015 class,
bringing in four-stars Alex Malzone
and Zach Gentry. One should have
the opportunity to redshirt, while the
other is available as a depth option.
That means an elite 2016 quarterback
is in the cards, with Harbaugh's his-
tory indicating that he'd like to land

the No. 2 pro-style passer and No. 25 overall prospect in the nation, has already taken an
unofficial visit to Ann Arbor for the 2014 summer camp.
