that one, throwing for 125 yards and two touchdowns while pitching four interceptions. "I remember when we played Flor- ida State, Jameis didn't know what the hell was going on," Taylor in- sisted. "He was throwing the ball to us like we were on his team. "[Durkin] tries to mix up coverages and does a good job of it, getting the quarterback rattled and getting him moving in the pocket. You can't have a quarterback just sitting back there and throwing. Our D-line did a good job of pushing the pocket as well, which helped our DBs a lot." Taylor described Durkin as an en- thusiastic, fiery coach who is a stickler for doing everything right. He always put Florida defenders in the best po- sition to be successful, and expects it will be no different at Michigan. Taylor began his Florida career with Urban Meyer as his head coach. He finished with Durkin as a defensive coordinator/interim head coach, and he's been well aware of Harbaugh since his recruiting days. Taylor ad- mitted always liking Harbaugh, and noted he'll be paying special attention to future Michigan-Ohio State battles. "It will be interesting to see who will be winning those games," Taylor said. "It should be a competitive little matchup. I think I'll probably root for Michigan. I'm going for Coach Harbaugh." OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR TIM DREVNO Drevno laid the foundation for Harbaugh's offensive juggernauts at San Diego and Stanford, then moved with him to the professional ranks. Their first three seasons in San Fran- cisco produced three NFC Champi- onship Game appearances and a near miss in the Super Bowl. According to Marinelli, who be- came an All-Pac-12 offensive tackle under Drevno, Michigan's new of- fensive coordinator and line coach should fit right in. "What a history Michigan has, of tremendous individual and collective offensive line play," Marinelli said. New U-M offensive coordinator Tim Drevno has played a large role in molding strong offensive lines and reviving rushing attacks at each of Harbaugh's three previous coach- ing stops.
