BGI's Take: Pride's track times are impressive, but what makes him such an intriguing football recruit is that he also plays extremely fast on the field. He shows off his speed as a returner and offensive player, and as a defender. He possesses very good foot quickness and agility, which he combines with relatively loose hips to excel at the sudden move- ments needed to be a top-notch cover player. At times, his feet get narrow, which slows down his transitions, but that is a correctable technique issue. He has good length for a cornerback, but he needs to fill out his frame and be more physical. When his technique is sound, he has the speed and agility to be a dynamic cover player. As he learns to harness his athleticism, he could become as good as any defender on this board. ✦ Greer (S.C.)
