Some of the old chairs remain, and parts of the old Kay Yow Court have been used to architectur- ally enhance the facility. The "Coaches Corner" was christened Sept. 16, with the statues of Kay Yow, Ev- erett Case, Norm Sloan and Jim Valvano. It proved to be a great touch leading into Reynolds Grand Opening Gala and Hall of Fame Inductions later on that evening. New lounges have been created where the narrow hallways were, and there is a new media room for press conferences. NC State also has its own work area to produce future content for the ACC Network. One of the bathrooms has a Mr. Wuf and Ms. Wuf to let patrons know where to go. The coaching offices for volleyball, women's basketball, gymnastics, softball and rifle now occupy modern space at Reynolds Coliseum. Fans and former athletes donated more Observers at the opening gala of Reynolds Coliseum on Sept. 16 (below) got to see the new display cases, including one honoring the legacies of Jim Valvano and Kay Yow (left).
