The Perfect Storm A Look Back At The Wolverines Unbelievably Prolific Recruiting Weekend Last February F By Andy Reid or one 48-hour period last February, just over two weeks after wrapping up a solid 2012 recruiting class, Michigan provided the first massive national storyline of the 2013 cycle, securing commitments from eight highprofile prospects in one wild weekend. Hosting a gaggle of juniors for the Michigan-Ohio State basketball game Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, the Wolverines got commitments from Illinois offensive lineman Kyle Bosch, Ohio defensive end Taco Charlton, Detroit offensive lineman David Dawson, Colorado offensive lineman Chris Fox, Detroit cornerback Jourdan Lewis, Novi, Mich., running back Wyatt Shallman, Ohio tight end Jake Butt and Illinois offensive lineman Logan Tuley-Tillman all Rivals.com fourstar prospects before school started Monday. This is the story of that weekend. Before the storm, there was hardly a calm. Campus was abuzz Saturday morning, with students walking down to Crisler Arena in the morning to attend ESPN College GameDay, which was in town to feature the Michigan-Ohio State game. As fans were gearing up for the game, the news of commitments started to trickle in. Bosch committed first, followed closely by Shallman.
