While Rashan Gary will have an outstanding career — including a good freshman season — he walks into a defensive line that was exceptional last year. That position group replaces its only personnel loss with two coming back from injury (Willie Henry left early for the NFL, but Ryan Glasgow and Bryan Mone should return from a torn pectoral muscle and broken leg, respectively), and the No. 1 recruit in the country is expected to start off as a bit of a role player, no matter how good he is. Even the returning starters probably won't be on the field for much more than half the snaps.
