BY CHRIS BALAS F ormer Michigan right tackle Michael Schofield was thrust into duty earlier this year for the Denver Broncos when several of his teammates on the offensive line went down with injury. The right tackle improved throughout the year and earned a Super Bowl ring in his first year as a starter, protecting Peyton Manning in Denver's 24‑10 win over Carolina Feb. 7.
