2016 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE MEASURABLES • Has a personal best of 4.41 sec- onds in the 40-yard dash. STATISTICS • During his senior campaign, he had 40 tackles, 12 interceptions, 12 pass breakups and three touchdowns. • Contributed 33 receptions for 786 yards and nine scores in his final cam- paign. • Caught two touchdown passes in Kings' 40-38 win over Lowell for the Division 2 state title, completing a 14-0 season. • Started his prep career at Cass Tech, transferring after his junior campaign. ALL-STAR GAMES AND CAMPS • Competed for the West squad in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, where he posted a tackle and broke up a pass. RECRUITMENT • Initially committed to Penn State on Jan. 31, 2015 over offers from Michigan and Michigan State. • Decommitted from the Nittany Li- ons Nov. 29 and reopened his recruit- ment. • Visited Michigan and MSU several times and also tripped to Tennessee and PSU. He picked up additional of- fers from Texas, Wisconsin, USC and Clemson, among others. • Committed to Michigan over MSU at a Feb. 3 press conference in Detroit.
