With the Wolverines' need at linebacker for the 2016 season, he stands a good chance to get on the field immedi- ately. Senior Ben Gedeon is the only returning player with significant ex- perience, and Bush has a chance to fill in at a starting linebacker spot. Even if he's unable to secure the other inside 'backer position, he should see the field as a contributor in his first year on campus. THEY SAID IT • Linebackers Coach Chris Par- tridge: "Devin is a tremendous athlete at the linebacker position. He's a thick, downhill linebacker with exceptional speed and quickness. He is explosive. He is a striker. Devin's going to be a young man that can really run around and make plays all over the field. "He loves football, and he loves the intensity of it. He will be a big hitter for us, making plays from sideline to Bush is the son of his prep coach, Devin Sr., who was a two-time All-ACC safety at Florida State and a first-round NFL Draft pick.
