Why she chose water polo over other sports: "Water polo was just the best. It really stood out to me over the other sports. I love being in the water, and I love the physicality of the sport and the people who were and are playing it." What she hopes to do after water polo at Michigan: "Hopefully in the fu‑ ture I'll be applying to medical school. That's what I'm looking to be doing soon and eventually becoming a doctor someday." Her overall U-M experience: "It's been awesome. It's been absolutely amaz‑ ing. The experiences that Michigan gives us, and the opportunities we're pre‑ sented with are second to none. As a student‑athlete, we don't just learn about athletics and school, we learn valuable life lessons as well." — Brandon Brown Thomason scored 40 goals in U-M's first 13 games this season.
