2016 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE film came out. They saw his highlight tape, and people realized that he could be a big-time guy and a quarterback for the defense. "In games, he can be a little hot and cold. That's something that we see from young players. Sometimes he takes a play off here or there or doesn't realize the impact he can have on every down, especially from that middle linebacker position. "I think that'll come with age. He's rela- tively new to the game of football com- pared to some of these other kids that he plays with. I like his football instincts when he's locked in. "He's playing at a very high level here in Georgia. He's got the potential, it's just a matter of tapping into it. The kind of coaching he'll get at Michigan will certainly help on that front." • Tom Lemming of Prep Football Re- port: "I went to Cedar Grove about a year and a half ago to check out the big tackle there, who I gave five stars, An- twuan Jackson. I remember the coach bringing Elysee over to me. He brought six guys — they've got a real good quar- terback and a bunch of good players for next year, too. "He said, 'Tom, this kid is ready to ex- plode.' When I saw him, he had no of- fers. I gave him four stars based on the film I saw. I knew he was going to be a big-time player. People came to see Antwuan Jackson and came away rav- ing about him. "Of all the guys signed, he may be the biggest sleeper. I just love him. He's got real good ability, explodes to the ball and can run. He's held his own against big-time competition."
