2016 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE receivers in fifth-year seniors Jehu Chesson and Amara Darboh, along with senior All-America tight end Jake Butt, giving the Maize and Blue plenty of targets through the air. The three- star is part of a six-member wide re- ceiver haul and likely won't need to contribute right away, so he could redshirt. THEY SAID IT • Passing Game Coordinator/Quar- terbacks and Wide Receivers Coach Jedd Fisch: "Eddie was our last com- mitment at wide receiver. He has elite speed — ran a 10.5 100-meter dash, a sub-21 200, a sub-47 400. This guy is a football player/track athlete. He came from a great football program at West Orange High School in Orlando, Flor- ida. He was a very sought-after foot- ball player who understands that he is coming in here right away to impact our team. Eddie has had great produc- tion everywhere he has been, from catching a touchdown in the all-star game he played in to the amount of touchdowns he had in high school. He has breakaway speed and really good catching ability. Eddie is a quiet kid who enjoys working hard and enjoys the process of getting better." • West Orange Head Coach Bob Head: "Eddie is one of the hardest workers I ever have coached. He is electric on the field, extremely tough and a hard worker. Eddie makes ev- eryone around him better and is a prime-time player. He comes to play everyday and is a fierce competitor." McDoom hauled in a 12-yard touchdown pass for his lone reception in the Under Armour All-American Game, helping his team to a 27-0 victory. PHOTO COURTESY RIVALS.COM
