2016 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE • Stayed true to his pledge and didn't visit any other schools. • Enrolled early and will participate in spring practice. NOTABLE • Born Oct. 15, 1997 in Indianapolis. • His sister, Brooke, plays volleyball at Purdue. • Played basketball for three years in high school, averaging 9.0 points as a freshman, 14 as a sophomore and 18 as a junior. 2016 PROJECTION • Houston transfer John O'Korn is ex- pected to win the starting job, and the Wolverines are still thought to be in the mix for grad transfers, as well. Redshirt freshman Zach Gentry has a year under his belt and redshirt junior Shane Morris has said he'd like to re- turn. Expect a redshirt year for Peters. THEY SAID IT • Passing Game Coordinator Jedd Fisch: "Brandon has a big, live arm and is very athletic. He was an excellent basketball player as well as a football player. He led his team to the state semifinals this year and is a proven winner. He has all of the tools as a quarterback to compete at the high- est level very quickly. Brandon kind of comes across as a silent assassin; he has a very quiet demeanor about Peters was named Indiana's "Mr. Football" and Gatorade Player of the Year during his senior campaign.
