2016 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE ing rushers from 2015 in seniors De'Veon Smith and Drake Johnson but is still looking for a dynamic, threat-to-go-all-the-way tailback, and Walker holds that potential. An early enrollee, he will have a tremendous chance to learn the offense in the spring, impress the coaches and earn reps this fall. THEY SAID IT • Running Back Coach Tyrone Wheatley: "He is well beyond his years — meaning that he had to grow up a lot faster and earlier than what was expected. Kareem has handled himself in situations where others would not have made it, and he has done well. " We are looking for ward to big things from Kareem. He has the style of an Eric Dickerson, an upright runner with great lateral movement. Kareem is tough as nails and will put his face in there and block. "One of the things that I'm most im- pressed with about Kareem is his abil- ity to carry the load. I went to watch Walker ran for more than 1,400 yards in each of his last two seasons at Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic while helping his team win three straight state titles. PHOTO COURTESY RIVALS.COM
