That left U-M with a three-lineman class and puts the Wolverines in a spot where they will have just 11 scholarship players, including seniors Mason Cole, David Dawson and Patrick Kugler, in 2017. The Maize and Blue will be ex- tremely young up front in 2017, with Nolan Ulizio and Jon Runyan redshirt sophomores and this year's three signees — four-star Michael Onwenu, four-star Ben Bredeson and three-star Stephen Spanellis — ei- ther redshirt freshmen or true sopho- mores.
