  OLYMPIC SPORTS UPDATE MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING (11‑0 OVERALL, 6‑0 BIG TEN) Michigan was ranked as the No. 3 team in the nation as of mid‑Feb‑ ruary after completing its fifth con‑ secutive undefeated regular season … In their last seven dual meets, the Wolverines have outscored their op‑ ponents 1,409.5‑646.5, including vic‑ tories against No. 11 Indiana, No. 22 Duke and No. 15 Ohio State … Senior Anders Lie Nielsen and sophomore Paul Powers put forth dominating performances Jan. 30 in Columbus, finishing one‑two in seven races and winning both relays … Nielsen was named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week Feb. 3 … Junior Chris Klein had a strong day in Columbus as well, winning the 200‑yard breaststroke (1:59.75) and finishing second in the 100‑yard breaststroke (54.71) and 200‑yard individual medley (1:49.87) … Senior Dylan Bosch contributed in Columbus with a victory of his own, winning the 200‑yard butterfly with a time of 1:44.25 … The Wolverines will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., for Big Ten Championships Feb. 24‑27 before readying for NCAA Champi‑ onships March 23‑26 in Atlanta. WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING (8‑1 OVERALL, 6‑0 BIG TEN) No. 6 Michigan had affirmed itself as one of the top teams in the nation as of mid‑February, winning each dual meet since Nov. 1 and remaining undefeated in Big Ten play … It its last two scoring meets, the Wolverines defeated No. 25 Ohio State 162‑138 Rookie Siobhán Haughey has been named Big Ten Freshman Swimmer of the Week five times for the sixth‑ranked Michigan women's swimming and diving team.
