He had to start studying, so he went into a room and for three hours he studied. Michigan experienced 12 decommitments of prospective Wolverines along the way, along with several new names cropping up at the end of the process. Those developments brought out some crit- ics, especially when one of the departing players sounded caught by sur- prise with the develop- ment. Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh noted that the competi- tion begins well before players arrive on cam- pus. " That entails to keep getting better, to per- form in the classroom, to perform on the field, to perform as a good citi- zen," he said.
