FROM OUR READERS • Carlo Kemp is flying under the radar. I haven't seen a ton of talk about him, but I'm excited to see what he does in the spring. He reminds me a bit of Ahmad Brooks, who played the Sam role with the Niners and was an animal at setting the edge versus run but could do a bit of everything. Anyways we are lacking a big presence on the edge and with him as an early enrollee, he could make a big splash next year. Also a bonus is he seems like a heck of a kid on the interviews I've heard. tothevictors56 • Harbaugh is winning. Living in Atlanta all we hear about is the SEC and how great it is. The media is all over Harbaugh here, all the time now. And during recruiting it was just publicity about the "crazy tactics" he was using. Now he is getting credit for beating the SEC at their own game. On the radio this morning they talked for 20 minutes about how Harbaugh isn't targeting a specific coach or school. He is targeting a conference and a culture of how things are done, and he is destroying it. They talked about how Harbaugh is playing the SEC right now and beating them like no one has done in 20- 30 years. And the crazy part is, when SEC fans called in, they admitted they look stupid. michiganfan8676 • Other than practice, of which there are limits on the amount of time, how many of the kids would really be able to go to Florida on spring break? I don't know many who sort of hop in the car any longer to drive there as we did in the past. I am sure there are some, but I suspect many could not really afford the trip today. Like everyone else, I can see a lot of the team looking forward to it, even with practice associated. This is not the bowl trip with a game to play and with it being early in the spring practice schedule, I can see Harbaugh making more time for fun and leisure activities. If anything, it provides an escape from northern weather. speedboys • John Bacon referenced a Don Canham quote yesterday on the Finebaum Show: "Don't let a one-day story turn into a two-day story."
