FROM OUR READERS Gary has more pure ability for his position than Jabrill (DB). He has a great two-handed punch off the line, keeps his arms extended and it's very hard to get inside his pads as he constantly slaps away a guy's arms, maintains great pad level and balance, seldom over-extends. He pursues relentlessly, is almost impossible to cut and never takes a down off. For his age, Gary has a good rip, swim and very quick twist. He is just plainly far better right now than any defensive lineman we have or have had since Mark Messner was a senior. By the end of his freshman season he will be the best defensive lineman in Michigan history.
