150 ■ THE WOLFPACKER ■ Directors' Cup Finish Through the winter, NC State seemed poised for its first top-25 finish in the Learfield Directors' Cup, but a lack of suc- cess in the spring sports had the Pack fall just short of its top finish of 27th in 2014- 15 with a 29th-place showing. NC State's women's cross country team is The Wolfpacker's Team of the Year after the squad finished fourth at the NCAA Championships and also collected ACC and NCAA Regional titles. Men's swimming and women's cross country won both the ACC title and a platform spot at the NCAA Championships with fourth-place finishes. Women's swimming also took home the ACC crown, and women's soccer made an improbable run to the Sweet 16.
