TRE TURNER, WR Greensboro Northwest Guilford The 6-4, 180-pounder is a two-sport standout who caught 52 passes for 1,065 yards and 12 touchdowns in football as a junior and has a career scor- ing average of 15.2 points per game in hoops. Turner spends most of his spring and summer playing basketball, but his future is on the gridiron. He verbally committed to Virginia Tech in the spring. Rivals.com rates him as the No. 5 player in the state, and the No. 23 wide receiver and No. 101 overall prospect in the country. 12. JORDYN ADAMS, WR Cary Green Hope High Adams transferred to Green Hope after playing last season at Blythewood (S.C.) High, where he was an option quarterback, throwing for 2,350 yards and rushing for 735 more while piling up 35 total touchdowns. His future is at receiver. Adams measured 6-0 ½ and 180 pounds at the Nike Opening Regional, and was laser-timed at 4.65 seconds in the 40 and 4.06 seconds in the shuttle. He also had a 36.9-inch verti- cal leap. Adams additionally is an excellent baseball player who batted .494 as a junior. He is expected to commit to North Car- olina, where his father, Deke Adams, is the Heels' defensive line coach. Rivals. com rates him as a four-star talent, the No. 7 prospect in the state, and the No. 24 wide receiver and No. 128 overall player nationally. 13. DYAMI BROWN, ATH Charlotte West Mecklenburg High Brown is a speedy playmaker that caught 54 passes for 1,012 yards and 12 touch- downs while also picking off three passes and making 49 tackles as a junior. At 6-2 and 172 pounds, Brown will need to get stronger for college. He projects to play receiver in college. Rivals.com ranks Brown as a four-star player, the No. 9 prospect in the state, and the No. 37 wide receiver and No. 193 recruit overall in the country. He verbally committed to UNC over Virginia Tech in the spring.
